FreightCar America mill gondola cars offer superior structural elements including our patented one-piece, cold-rolled center sill, fabricated or integrated cast draft sills, pinned corner connections and a choice of welded or riveted sides. Available options include steel covers and customized interior racks depending on shipper requirements, and our car bodies can be all steel or a combination of steel and stainless. They can be created from virtually any standard draft gear donor car.
